Customer Profile

Shanghai Xinsheng Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in June 2014. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Silicon Industry Group Co., Ltd., it is located in Lingang New Area, China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and is a domestic supplier commercially providing 300mm semiconductor wafers.

Semiconductor wafers are major basic materials for the integrated circuit (IC) industry. Currently, 300mm wafers have become the mainstream material for chip manufacturing. In the past, China’s 300mm semiconductor wafers relied heavily on imports, which became a key bottleneck for the development of the IC industry chain. To ensure the industrial chain supply security of 300mm semiconductor wafers, the company has successively developed complete sets of technologies for 300mm wafers applied in logic circuits and memory devices, and realized large-scale mass production.

The project has stringent requirements for the power quality of the system, with the key requirements as follows:

1) Capacitors must comply with international standards and pass the 9 major type tests specified in GB-T12747 <Self-healing shunt capacitors for AC power systems with rated voltage up to 1kV> and IEC60831 <Shunt power capacitors of the self-healing type for a.c. systems having a rated voltage up to and including 1000V>.

2) The supplied capacitors must comply with internationally authoritative certifications to ensure product quality.

The capacitors must cover the 9 major type tests, including:

Thermal stability test: tested at 55℃ (Class D), aging test, destructive test

For Shanghai Xinsheng Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., a company that prioritizes safety and rigor, NCS has supplied 12 complete sets of NCS Intelligent Power Quality Compensation Systems (NCSIPQ+NCSD). These systems utilize an intelligent control system (HMI) to manage 2nd to 25th harmonics (without load reduction), achieve reactive power compensation, and correct three-phase imbalance in the power system.
